Sonoma Horse Park — A world-class horse show facility 25 miles north of San Francisco in southern Sonoma County. Situated on the banks of the Petaluma River, the 75-acre facility boasts seventeen arenas and is the ideal showcase for equestrian sports. Sonoma Horse Park hosts several premier USEF/USHJA show jumping competitions annually, each attracting top competitors from all over the Western United States, Canada and Mexico.

Therapeutic and adaptive riding programs have long been part of the North Bay’s equestrian landscape. Halleck Creek Ranch in Nicasio Valley has been serving riders since 1977, and Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Petaluma provide structured equine-assisted programs that expand access to horsemanship and reflect the region’s commitment to wellness and connection through the horse.
Local 4-H and FFA programs thrive across the region, showcasing youth agriculture, livestock, and horsemanship each year at the county fairs.
Cloverleaf Ranch has been part of the North Bay horse community for generations. Family-owned since 1947, it offers camps, riding programs, and seasonal events that have become a tradition for many families.
